The admission by agency leadership happened a day after WFTV reported the arrest of Mathew Fleury, a since-retired officer who investigators said claimed to work 68 “Extra-Duty” shifts acting as security for office parks when his equipment’s GPS recorded his location elsewhere.

Fleury appeared to be home during many of the shifts, for which he racked up more than $12,000 over a several-month span, according to his charging document.
They did not share details about the officers or the investigations into them.
Fleury resigned last month and the third officer is still employed but has been relieved of duty.

They said the criminal cases will be referred to State Attorney Monique Worrell’s team for review.
