WDBO's Joe Ruble is reporting that the entryway was pried open, and someone entered the club.

He says the owners are not sure if anything was taken, but sources tell us the place was vandalized.

On Wednesday, OPD turned the club back over to the nightclub owners after more than a month of investigation and constant guarding of the premises.

With the release of the crime scene, Orlando Police stated that they are not responsible for securing the site.

Early Sunday, June 12, 2016, a gunman walked into the club on South Orange Avenue and repeatedly opened fire, killing 49 people and injuring 53 others, in the worst mass shooting in recent U.S. history.

People visiting the site today said they are very sad to hear of the break-in, and don't understand why anyone would do this.
