Brevard woman arrested after fatal dog mauling that killed neighbor walking her dog

A Brevard County woman has been arrested on a manslaughter charge after investigators say her two dogs fatally attacked a neighbor who was walking her dog. Sheriff Wayne Ivey said the owner knew the dogs frequently escaped from the yard and had a history of aggressive behavior before the deadly attack that killed Jody Cowan.
